Give and Take

One kit. Endless games.

Setup
The Dealer: One player acts as the dealer.
Player Hands: Each player is dealt four cards face-up (or held privately).
The Rows: The dealer sets up two separate rows of six face-down cards in the middle of the table.
  • The left row represents "Truth".
  • The right row represents "Dare".
Drink Values: The cards in each row (numbered 1 through 6) set the length or number of drinks required (e.g., 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 seconds, or 1 to 6 drinks).

Gameplay
Alternating Flips: Play moves in turns by flipping one face-down card from the rows, alternating between the Truth side and the Dare side.
Matching Cards: After a card is flipped, check who holds a matching card value in their hand:
  • If a player has the matching card: They must either answer the Truth or perform the Dare (depending on which row the card came from), or take the penalty drinks corresponding to that card's position.
  • If multiple players have the card: They face off in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. The loser drinks, and the winner chooses between doing the truth/dare or assigning the drinks.
  • If no player has the card: A replacement card is drawn from the leftover deck.

Special Rules (Aces)
Initial Deal: If a player receives an Ace in their initial four cards, they get to make a permanent house rule for the game.
Flipped Ace: If an Ace is flipped from one of the rows, the player holding the most cards of that suit in their hand gets to make a new rule (settled by Rock, Paper, Scissors in the case of a tie).
