High Low

One kit. Endless games.

Setup
Use a standard 52-card deck with jokers removed.
Shuffle the cards well.
Place one card face-up on the table. Keep the rest of the deck in a face-down pile next to it.
Basic Rules
The Guess: The active player looks at the face-up card and guesses whether the next card drawn will be higher or lower in rank.
Card Values: Standard numerical order applies (2 through 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace). Decide beforehand if Aces are high or low.
The Reveal: Draw the top card from the deck and turn it face-up.
  • If the player gesses correctly, they score a point (or keep the card) and continue to the next guess.
  • If the player guesses incorrectly, their turn ends, and play passes to the next person.
Ties (Same Value): Decide on your house rule for ties before starting. A tie usually counts as an incorrect guess or a loss, ending the player's turn.
Winning the Game
Play until the deck runs out or a set number of rounds finishes.
The player with the most correct guesses or highest score wins.
