Killer
One kit. Endless games.
Setup and Assigning Numbers
Non-dominant hand throw: Each player throws one dart with their weaker hand (right-handers use their left) to determine their personal number.
No duplicates: If you miss the board or hit a number another player already claimed, you must throw again.
Lives: Every player starts with 3 lives (often marked as three crosses or tally marks on the scoreboard).
Throw order: Players throw a single dart at the bullseye with their normal hand to see who goes first.
Becoming a Killer
Hit your number: On your turn (throwing 3 darts), you must hit your own assigned number segment to build up status.
Scoring hits: A single counts as 1 hit, a double counts as 2, and a triple counts as 3. (In some strict rule sets, you must specifically hit the double of your number to qualify).
Achieving Killer status: Once you accumulate a total of 3 hits on your number, you officially become a "Killer".
Gameplay and Eliminating Opponents
Attack other numbers: Once you are a Killer, use your remaining darts in a turn to aim for your opponents' numbers.
Lose a life: Each time a Killer hits an opponent's target number, that opponent loses a life (1 life for a single, 2 for a double, 3 for a triple).
Friendly fire warning: If you are a Killer and accidentally hit your own target number, you lose one of your own lives.
Elimination: When a player drops to 0 lives and their number is hit one final time by a Killer, they are eliminated from the game.
